“Pollinator Sculptures”. Artist “Walk & Talk”

Thursday, June 6th from 5:30-7:30pm

Join Gabrielle as she walks through the park describing the creative process for her art, reminding us of the beneficial effect that we can choose to have on the environment, in the pursuit of peace with nature.

Description: These sculptures have been constructed using invasive plants collected from around High School Park. They serve to remind us of the beneficial effect that we can choose to have on the environment, and represent the artists’ passionate pursuit of peace with nature.

Bio: Gabrielle is a local “artist” who got her start in random weave basketry during the pandemic. She puts that in quotes, because she attests that what she does is just a playful hobby. Over the course of several years this hobby grew into an interest in creating larger and more complex shapes. The works represented today are among some of the largest pieces yet created and are her first Macro scale sculptures.
