The Year of the Mushroom!

Join us for a mushroom tour inside High School Park with Rita Berson on October 6th at 12noon.  Rita will lead the group in and around the 11 acres looking for these valuable fungi.  Learn where and why they grow, and their important role in the health of the environment.  There will be more programs about mushrooms throughout the year, so stay tuned!

No registration is necessary, just join in!  You will be walking through the woods, so consider wearing closed-toe shoes and long pants..
